Bird Cage Assembly

We professionally assemble large bird cages and aviaries purchased from The Chook Barn, ensuring:

  • All panels are correctly aligned.
  • Doors operate smoothly.
  • Locks and latches are fitted correctly.
  • Wheels or stands are securely attached.
  • The enclosure is stable before use.

Aquarium Assembly

Our aquarium assembly service includes:

  • Cabinet assembly.
  • Aquarium placement on the cabinet.
  • Basic levelling.
  • Installation of supplied lids and covers.
  • Assembly of manufacturer-supplied components.

Please note: This service does not include plumbing, electrical work, filling the aquarium, aquascaping, cycling, or transferring fish unless separately arranged.

If your location falls outside our standard service area, we'll happily provide a personalised quotation.

To help us complete your installation safely and efficiently, please ensure:

  • Someone aged 18 years or older is present.
  • The installation location is clear and accessible.
  • Doorways and access paths are suitable for the product being delivered.
  • Any existing cages, aquariums, or furniture have been removed if necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you remove the packaging?

Yes. We'll take away the cardboard and packaging from the products we assemble.

Can you carry the product upstairs?

In many cases, yes. However, this depends on safe access, the size and weight of the product, and the number of installers required. Please contact us if you have stairs or difficult access.

Can you assemble products not purchased from The Chook Barn?

At present, this service is available only for eligible products purchased from The Chook Barn.

Do I need to be home?

Yes. An adult aged 18 years or older must be present to receive the delivery and confirm the completed installation.

Can I choose my preferred day?

Yes. During checkout you can select your preferred delivery and assembly date. We'll contact you if we need to arrange an alternative time.
